Are you particular about ingredients?

Tallow NOW skincare very proudly has minimal ingredients.

The skin doesn't need complicated concoctions - even if they are natural and lox tox - are they necessary? Each ingredient creates a footprint.

Just a little jojoba oil assists the texture. This "wax ester" is also molecularly close to human sebum. Combining it with tallow makes sense. 

Our RAW variety is just tallow and avocado oil to guarantee an entirely edible product with lips and nursing mums in mind.

Select essential oils in our scented varieties are kept at a very low concentration to protect the skin's delicate microbiome. Again, sparing, considered and conscious of the footprint the ingredient leaves on our earth.

Is it GREASY?

With a fat profile so close to our skin, tallow is very easily absorbed despite being MUCH heavier than plant based oils.

The trick is sparing application. A little jar goes a LONG way...

What is Tallow?

Tallow is rendered fat of any ruminant animal. We source Certified Organic grass fed and finished suet only - we never compromise on this.

Suet is the hard fat that protects the kidneys. There is very little per cow. Prized for cosmetic use, it is higher in nutrient density than body fat.

We gently and carefully prepare it and present the highest quality tallow.

Less popular in modern lives and often discarded - we are proud to utilize this incredible fat.

Tallow NOW is skin compatible

This means it absorbs easily, nourishing skin to support its protective barrier. This improves the appearance.
