We bring an extremely high tallow product. You don't need superfluous ingredients when you use tallow. Certified Organic ingredients - always.

It's highly effective. The simplicity - beautiful and astounding.

What does it smell like?

Let's handle the elephant (cow?) in the room. Once gently rendered and purified it presents a faint earthy aroma.

Raw smells kind of delicious! It's very pleasant and once applied the scent disperses to neutral.

Naked is unscented - neutral - with a light sweet-nuttiness brought by the calendula infused jojoba.

Floral is most certainly floral. Soothing geranium and lavender at the front with a little background zing from bergamot.

Fresh is uplifting and juicy. Driven by sweet orange and lemongrass, rounded and grounded by patchouli.

Rose is as its namesake - rose - a delicate and low scented option for lovers of delicate simplicity.

All scents fade to neutral . Designed with low essential oil concentrations, with protecting microbiomes and sensitive constitutions at forefront.

What does "Always Certified Organic Ingredients" actually mean?

It is well understood that certified organic products have a higher nutrient density, vitality and environmental integrity.

Organic certification is a painstaking process that suppliers choose to undertake. It takes years and entails rigorous testing and expense.

This guarantees a lowtox product free from synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, antibiotics, growth regulators and Genetically Modified Organisms.

These compounds impact the microbiome - commonly related to gut health.

How do I use and store my tallow?

Tallow NOW is multi-purpose. Faces, lips, decolletages, torsos, limbs. Babies' bottoms, dry and fragile elderly skins.

Frequently used to replace a daily facial moisturiser. Some people swear by it under make up as a primer due to its silky finish.

Please use sparingly. A little goes a long way. This is great news for your skin, body systems, wallet and sustainability.

Some people like to add tallow to an already established routine and utilize their own carrier oil, cream, or add their own essential oils to the Raw and Naked varieties. The choice is yours!

Tallow traditionally has a long shelf life. Our ancestors kept it indefinitely in cool storage! We recommend 12 months in a cool and dry place. Please avoid heat and sun as tallow is a saturated fat and responds to temperature. Just like your fave lip balm left in the car - it will melt when hot!

My tallow's texture is different from last time... why?

Consistency is something we grow accustomed to in products. This is due to industrial processing, homogenisation and emulsification additives.

We offer you consistently high quality carefully and intentionally made tallow. We however can never offer complete consistency in texture.

It comes down to the beautiful concept of terroir. The cows live in harmony with the nutrient profile of the grass on offer during the current season.

Fat profiles depend on the soil nutrient profile, the rainfall, the sunshine and other factors to grow their grass. Everything changes. Nothing stay the same in nature. Change is something to be sure of. Isn't that a wild yet comforting thought?
