We’re Jane & Ben – tallow makers from Bright, Victoria.

Inspired by the Victorian Alps, we use only certified organic ingredients.

Most often, you’ll communnicate with Jane, whilst Ben works behind the scenes, carefully formulating and refining each batch.

Skin reflects overall wellbeing and vitalism.

With these foundations in place, our formulations support the skin’s natural function.

In 2022 Ben experienced a nasty flare of a long-term skin condition.

Conventional treatments offered limited relief. Inspired by traditional nutritional approaches, he began working with rendered beef suet.

A noticeable change followed. This led to continued formulation and refinement, and eventually, Tallow NOW.

We focus on simplicity, skin compatibility, and restraint.

Each jar values local input and natural variation.

Botanical impressions on our label were created by local artist Ngaire Briggs.

The “O” with a dot in the centre in NOW represents presence.
